:: The Undersecretary of State delegated to the coordination of the Intelligence and Security Services

The Undersecretary is authorized to preside over CESIS (Executive Committee for the Intelligence and Security Services), to represent the Prime Minister before the Parliamentary Committee for the control of the Intelligence and Security Services and State secret, to carry out the coordinating functions entrusted by Act no. 801/77 to the Prime Minister, to adopt measures “regulating the legal status of the personnel, the management of the offices, the organization and the structure of the Intelligence and Security services (art.2(d) )”.
Moreover, the Undersecretary is mandated with the working out of legislative reforming texts concerning Intelligence services and State secret.
