The structure | Sisde
SISDE reports directly to the Minister of the Interior, who:
* establishes regulations;
* oversees that its activities comply with the President of the Council of Ministers' guidelines;
*nominates, advised by the CIIS, the director of the Service and his closest aides;
Tasks:
* carries out all intelligence and security tasks to defend democracy and the institutions which the Constitution has established as the foundation of the State against those who intend to attack it and from all forms of subversion;
* informs the Minister the Interior and CESIS on all the information received or in its possession, as well as the analyses and details of all operations carried out.
